The motor blew and the manufacturer refused to honor their warrentee (sp) because the car was used for racing. I'll agree with what most people will say, its a risk you take. It just sounds a bit strange that a part that is meant to be used in a certain way and is damaged doing that task is not covered even though its under warrentee against such occurances. He decided to swap in an SR because its easier to work on, there is more after market, its lighter, and it can make a lot of power safely. Again, I don't know all the specifics, just what I hear. I could be completely wrong on all of it.
